The Bhatt lab is looking for motivated, bright post-doctoral fellows and graduate students who are passionate about using state-of-the-art genetics to solve medical mysteries.

The Bhatt lab is looking for talented undergrads to assist  in different research projects  at the interface of metabolism and the human gut microbiome in the lab. This opportunity would be great for students looking for wet lab experience and to become familiar with various biological techniques. The ideal candidate is organized, highly motivated, reliable and keen to learn new things. Prior research experience is not required but is an advantage. The best scenario would be for the undergrad to start a full time summer research term in the lab and continue on in the lab on a part-time basis over the following academic year (10 hr/week). Priority will be given to applicants who can commit to a longer research period in the lab. Due to legal restrictions, we cannot take volunteers so we can only accept students through undergraduate research courses for credit or through sponsored undergraduate research opportunities.
